About

About the Site:
The goal of this website is to provide a platform for the crystallographic community to share ideas. A primary focus is to explain the various processes involved in macromolecular crystallography.
This blog covers everything from:
-Time Management
-Attempts at Crystallography Humor
-Using Tools Online to Improve Your Research
-Crystallography resources, databases and tools
-How Tos and Practical Ideas
In short, this is a place where very, very good looking people discuss crystallography.
We also run a crystallography store that carries a variety of supplies including TCEP, IPTG, Chill Buckets, cryoprotectants and much more!
About Me:
My name is Sean Seaver and I am the guy behind P212121.com. I started working in crystallography at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2005. I am currently a 5th year PhD graduate student at the University of Toledo in Ohio.
Reading this blog won’t guarantee your next paper will be in Nature but, hopefully, it will help you to more easily explore the world of crystallography and maybe even improve your research.
If you would like to join me on this journey, please subscribe to P212121’s RSS feed. (what is RSS feed?)
I will update this page in the future and provide a little more background about myself then. In the meantime, however, feel free to ask any questions you may have of me. Thanks for stopping by! I hope to hear from you soon.
