Are you working on lysozyme?
We have a lot of problems that need a structure.
HIV
Cancer
Diabetes
Influenza
Heart Disease
Multiple Scherlosis
Tuberculosis
Alzheimer’s
Arthritis
Autism
Malaria
We need you.

It’s an interesting point… numerous structures related to HIV have been solved, yet we haven’t made much progress over the last decade in finding novel ways to effectively treat this disease. An article in Wired magazine recently suggested diverting research dollars to cancer screening and prevention, rather than spending it on developing new treatments.

I bet there will be fewer lysozyme structures solved now that Brian Matthews has retired!
That’s a waste of limited research money
